it's what i get for traveling

I have survived 48 hours of diarrhea. I suspect it started when I ate at the school cafeteria. I came down with a fever and extreme exhaustion and a sort of dull-headedness. I went to bed early, missed a cheese and wine party (roommate’s parents came in from merry old England) and was about 75% the next day. I could not have a solid bowel movement so I was counting on Imodium AD to come to the rescue. That night I took some of that and went to bed about 9 pm. I woke up a few hours later with the worst headache I’ve ever had. I took some BC Powder for that and was feeling tired enough to sleep about an hour later. I slept, both nights breaking out in a sweat, and woke up today feeling well enough to teach my first weekend of classes (actually covering my vacationing roommate’s classes). So now I’m going to bed and feeling happy about having a solid bowel movement. When 6000 miles from home and without any Cipro, it’s not as disgusting a subject as it is unnerving.
Glad to be healthy and the classes went well.
