Well hello to all and hello again to Beijing, China. The 14 hour plane ride was sleepless for me yet uneventful and that’s a good thing. No snorers and only 1 part time screaming baby.
Flew Continental from Newark this time. Ticket price: about 700 USD. Continental’s performance: B- because the flight attendants weren’t all that helpful or patient and the video games didn’t work on my council until almost 10 hours into my sleepless flight. However, this was the first flight that got my requested menu diet corrrect.
Have settled into my apartment and things seem to be going well for now. Walking around the streets here, it feels like I never left.
Below is a pic of my room. I’ve cleaned it and changed it a bit, but this is pretty much it. 1250 RMB a month.
